Dallas, TX for AWEA
I spent the week in Dallas, TX for the Wind Power 2010 show. I have learned so much about the wind power industry. I am more excited about what I do after seeing the enthusiasm of the entire industry. It's amazing how life works sometimes. I worked in concrete as an estimator/project manager for 8 years and never went to the World of Concrete. I have worked as a civil estimator for wind projects for 11 months and have seen a great deal of the country, met good people, work with good people, and made it to the AWEA show in my for 11 months on the job. I hope to keep building what I learn everyday and I hope that working in renewable energy make the world better for my kids. I hope what I do means something good for life beyond me.

That's cool. Word on the street is that we're getting a wind farm here on Lake Erie in the next few years.
I have read that. There will be more wind farms sprouting up in Ohio over the next few years.
